Stylophone based Arduino synth

This is a really nice ongoing project that Jacob Sikker does as part of a thesis for his masters of interaction design degree at the Copenhagen Insititute of Interaction Design, CIID.

At the heart of the unit is one more small arduino synth but what makes this project special is that he really focuses properly on the interface part too. There’s too many geeky units out there that do random blips with no sort of control and nope, that is NOT cool.

Focusing on a standalone unit, the idea of using a stylophone interface is a great one, and since it’s got various knobs and switches to interact with, it looks very promising and fun ! Well done Jacob…
